A former editor at the American Academy in Rome (1970-1980) and consultant for the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (1981-1986), Lucy Gordan has been a member of Associazione della Stampa Estera in Italia (Foreign Press Association) since 1988 and of the Holy See (Vatican) Press Corps since 2014.
She’s been Culture Editor of Inside the Vatican since 2004, Europe's Bureau Chief of Epicurean-Traveler.com since 2002, a columnist, "Italian Hours", at www.lavocedinewyork since 2016, and special columnist of La Madia, an Italian eno-gastromonic and travel monthly since 2003.
From 2003 until 2023 she was a special correspondent of KMT: a modern journal journal of ancient Egypt, when it ceased publication. Her articles were profiles of ancient Egyptian collections in the United States and in Europe as well as reviews of exhibitions of ancient Egyptian art.
